Hip-hop artists have always used their platform to raise awareness and fight back against systemic oppression. In the wake of the recent protests across America, music has slowed down a bit but those that have chosen to release music have made sure it comes with a message. Iamsu has been delivering bangers for the sunny weather for years. Today, he released his latest single, "For The People" that speaks of the systemic oppression, from policing to the corporate levels. Even with change underway, he leaves the short record on a positive note as he signs, "We been doin' good, doin' good/ We'll be good 'til the end."

Check out Iamsu's new single below and keep your eyes peeled for more new music from the rapper.

Quotable Lyrics
Home of the brave, land of the free
Love on our entertainment but could care less about me
Danglin' from a string on the tip of the highest peak
