Our fourth and final Heatseeker this weekend is J Skillz, whose "Steppin'" impressed us. Hailing from New York, Skillz turns out a bonafide banger here.
As he himself tells it, "I grew up to all kinds of music and took it into my own hands to teach myself how to write, produce, mix/master, shoot and edit music videos myself." His hard work show in "Steppin'," whose instrumental and lyrics both seem well thought-out and expertly constructed.
