G-Eazy announced the title of his sophomore album yesterday, and revealed the artwork too. He followed the album news with the first official single from When It's Dark Out. G-Eazy has been delivering trifectas of records on his Soundcloud leading up to this news, the last batch being "Need You Now," "Say So," and "Friend Zone."
"Me, Myself & I" has pop tendencies, relying on a catchy, almost country-like chorus from the raspy Bebe Rexha and a piano refrain that becomes subdued when G-Eazy raps. I can definitely see this earning radio play. Are you excited for When It's Dark Out?
The album drops on December 4th. This single will be hitting iTunes today.
And I don't like talking to strangers
So get the fuck off me I'm anxious
I'm tryna be cool but I may just go ape shit
Say fuck yall to all of yall faces
It changes though now that I'm famous
Everybody knows how this lifestyle is dangerous
