Eddie Murphy is known for many things: being one of the greatest comedians of all time, playing every character in a movie and, now, having 10 kids. The milestone child that got Eddie into double digits was born on Friday, November 30th and, in a statement to Page Six, Murphy's rep confirmed that “both mother and son are doing well." The mother is Paige Butcher, who plays "Background Model #1" in Big Momma's House 2. She and Murphy have been together for years (they got engaged in September) and had another kid, Izzy, back in 2016.
Murphy and Butcher's new child was born at the healthy weight of 6 pounds and 11 ounces, with a height of 19 inches. The couple's new son, Max, was given the middle name Charlie as a tribute to Eddie's late brother, who died last year of leukemia.
Murphy has long been committed to "having more kids than God," his first child coming 28 years ago with Paulette Mcneely. He also had six kids over the course of a twelve year relationships with Nicole Mitchell Murphy (that's a steady pace of one every two years!) and, although they only had one kid eleven years ago, Murphy and Mel B, otherwise known as Scary Spice, had a daughter together named Angel.
