Sirens II

Listen to Bilal's smooth new single.

Believe it or not, we haven't featured a Bilal track on HNHH since 2012. How that happened, I'll never know. His last LP, A Love Surreal, was indisputably the best neo-soul release of 2013, and, lets be honest, the dude may be paralleled only by D'Angelo for the smoothest vocals in the R&B game. Yet, somehow, someway, all of that talent just managed to slip under our radar. Thankfully, "Sirens II" has arrived to make up for lost time.

A loose drop off Bilal's next full-length (dropping early 2015), the single builds on Adrian Younge's original "Sirens" instrumental (famously sampled on Jay Z's "Picasso Baby), adding silky-smooth vocals to an already solid foundation. Addition production comes courtesy of A Tribe Called Quest's  Ali Shaheed Muhammad.

Look for more Bilal to hit our pages as he continues to roll out the new album.

Quotable Lyrics:

Sirens, sirens, sirens
Sirens have come to take you away
