A week ago, we heard a snippet of Bilal and Kendrick Lamar's new collab, an Adrian Younge-produced gem called "Money Over Love," and now the full version has surfaced. Check it out below.
Swathed in Younge's signature warm, retro live instrumentation, both vocalists deftly approach their respective parts, with Bilal providing his soulful falsetto and Lamar trading sweetness for furor on his second half verse. Atop fuzzed-out guitar, organ and even some flute, Lamar gives us the 2015 version of Gil Scott Heron-- poetic, ferocious and above all, concerned with the socio-political implications of everyday life.
