News <p>Sean Kingston is making moves towards recovery following his catastrophic jet-ski accident over the Memorial Day weekend.<br />

Although doctors stated that it would take up to six months for a full recovery, sources close to Kingston have revealed that he is alert and awake. TMZ is reporting that despite having a breathing tube in his mouth, Kingston is improving daily by communicating with head nods and using sign language.<br />

The former Fugees member/political activist was visiting his native country in support of Haitian presidential candidate Michel Martelly, when he was allegedly shot and wounded in the hand, as he stepped out of his car in Port-au-Prince.<br />

Conflicting reports regarding the shooting soon began to spread, however, local police chief Vanel Lacroix revealed that the doctor who had treated 'Clef said that he had actually been wounded by glass, not a bullet.<br />
