News <p>J. Cole still waiting on a verse from Jay-Z for "Cole World: The Sideline Story,” says he will no longer release a new mixtape.<br />

Although J. Cole initially announced that he would be dropping a new mixtape before the September release of Cole World: The Sideline Story he has now revealed that he will longer be releasing that mixtape.<br />
<br />
Rather than release the full mixtape Cole will instead leak the songs that would have been featured on the mixtape in the weeks leading up to Cole World: The Sideline Story.<br />

Ja, who recently pleaded guilty to tax evasion charges, became the brunt of more 50 Cent jokes, after a fan posted a comment about the situation on 50's Twitter page to which he responded with laughter.<br />

News <p>Troubled MC Charles Hamilton has continued his pattern of erratic behavior by allegedly assaulting a police officer in Ohio last week.<br />

According to his case information, which hit the 'net yesterday, Hamilton was arrested on Friday, December 10, in Cleveland, Ohio, for assault, after he reportedly caused a disturbance at a number of bars. When police attempted to subdue him, the rapper apparently struck an officer in the face.<br />

Jay, born Shaun Carter, opened fire on his drug-addicted brother at the age of 12, reports The Guardian.<br />
