News Game Must Pay $5 Million To Police Officers In Compensatory Damages <p>Yesterday a North Carolina court upheld a ruling from 2010 that Game must pay $5 million to five Greensboro police officers because of an incident back in October 2005.</p> <p>The police officers filed a defamation suit against the rapper in 2006, and the $5 million is to compensate for damages. Kafani denies having any part in the shooting, which took place just after 6 pm,  in a liquor store parking lot. News J. Cole Releasing First Album Single Within a Week <p>Two weeks ago, J. Cole announced that his debut album for Roc Nation was finally complete, approximately two years after signing with the imprint. Now, the North Carolina native is gearing up to drop its first official single.<br /> <br /> At the BET Awards nominations press conference earlier this week, Cole told Ms. Drama TV that he will release the album's first single within a few days. "We finally married a single and we picked it, so that's next week. There's no more holdup," J. Cole explained.
