Viral internet challenges have a long and sordid history. Some are well-intended like the "ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Others are more fun, like the "Harlem Shake" or "Mannequin Challenge." Some are as dumb as they are dangerous, like the "Tide Pod" or "Don't Lack" challenges. Occasionally, hip-hop challenges take off, like the "So Gone" challenge, or the notorious "For The Dick/Pussy."  For whatever reason, all manners of different ones tend to captivate the vast collective hive-mind of the internet at large. It would appear that rapper Rich The Kid has found himself at the center of a new challenge, centered around his breakout hit "New Freezer."

Videos have surfaced of the "New Freezer" challenge, which seems to be cut from the same cloth as the aforementioned "Harlem Shake." The premise is relatively simple. All you have to do is put on "New Freezer" and rock your back and forth to the beat. A while back, Rich himself actually posted some of the videos on his IG page, and from the sound of it, seems to be enjoying the new movement.  Check out some of the footage below.

In other, Rich The Kid related news, the rapper will be premiering his new single "Plug Walk" at noon, Eastern Time. Stay tuned for that.
