Kanye West, no stranger to lawsuits, is now facing another.

Kanye West is facing legal trouble in a recent report from HHW. The rapper is being sued over illegally using a sample on his last album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Record label TufAmerica, who already has a lawsuit going after the Beastie Boys, is now turning towards Ye. The filed a claim in Manhattan which accuses Mr. West of illegally sampling songs from the company's catalogue on the aforementioned album.

The two songs in question are “Who Will Survive In America” and “Lost In The World,” which both used parts of R&B singers Eddie Bo's “Hook & Sling” parts 1 and 2. TufAmerica required the rights to the 1969 single back in 1996. According to the suit, although Roc-A-Fella and Universal Music Group paid the company $62, 500 in licensing fees, they "failed and refused to enter into written license agreements that accounted for their multiple other uses of ['Hook & Sling'].”

Now the record label is seeking unspecified damages from Roc-A-Fella and UMG Recordings for copyright infringement.
