It seems many more people have been paying attention to Don Q over the past few months. Last year was probably one of the most lit years for the NY emcee. He dropped off his Corner Stories project then re-issued it after he penned a deal with Atlantic Records last summer. He's been on the grind lately and last week, he launched his new #DontTalkWednesday series where he drops new music every week. This week, he tackles Drake's "Diplomatic Immunity" for a new freestyle.

Don Q is easily one of the most overlooked emcees right now. His slick tongue delivers vivid street tales with incredible punchlines. His latest release is a testament to his strength. Q goes head first on the track without sparing a breath for a little under 2 minutes. Don's about to make some major noise this year. Make sure you're not sleeping on him.

Quotable Lyrics
Never make it is what they can't tell us, ain't no damn pressure
Don't come inside, I feel funny vibes in your hand gestures
Learnin' bout my ancestors, they was pickin' cotton
I was in Neiman's pickin' cotton, Damier texture
