The Nike Air Max 97 remains a classic.

One of the best sneakers to ever come out of Oregon would have to be the Nike Air Max 97. Overall, the Air Max line is extremely iconic. However, the 97 is one of those shoes that you cannot deny. Compared to other Air Max models, it has a fairly unique look to it. Moreover, this shoe is just timeless. You could have worn it in any era since its release, and it would have looked good on your feet. That is the sign of a great shoe, and it seems like Nike will always support this shoe, regardless of what the trends might be.

Of course, this is a shoe that was dropped back in 1997. Consequently, you can probably deduce that this sneaker celebrated its 25th birthday in 2022. Subsequently, this led to a ton of amazing colorways. Additionally, it led to some great retros that fans were quite fond of. In 2023, Nike is continuing its run of amazing Nike Air Max 97 colorways. Based on these colors we just mentioned, you can imagine that this is a clean and neutral model made for warmer months. The official images confirm the said theory. Firstly, the shoe is covered in alternating grey and silver materials. Moreover, the midsole has a creamy beige quality to it, which lends itself well to the overall aesthetic. They may not be super flashy, but they don't have to be.
