It seems like every couple of months Punch comes out of the woodwork to hit us with some new music, and it's not the mindless stuff we get on the day-to-day, it's typically something poignant, with a message. The last record from TDE's full time President and part time rapper was one that waxed poetics about his job's stresses, "Gone."
Today he vents about some bigger world issues, or rather, community issues that plague his neighborhood-- "shell cases in the sandbox" he raps, while a young child echoes "PTSD" through out.
Along with the release of the song he wrote on Soundcloud, "this song is dedicated to the 40 something year civil war that has ripped watts ca, apart. a war between families divided by the train tracks. my heart goes out to all of us who have lost someone due to this war."
