Watch Charles Hamilton new single "Down the Line" off his forthcoming "The Black Box" EP.

Charles Hamilton's The Black Box EP was originally supposed to drop in September. That didn't happen but Hamilton still has his eye on the prize as he drops off a new single and video for "Down the Line."

The song takes the form of a confession, as Hamilton explores in depth his struggle with bipolar disorder and reveals that he once recorded a diss track directed at all the artists who shared the XXL Freshman cover with him in 2009. The somber video reflects the song's emotional weight.

"This video represents me transitioning through the world seemingly alone, struggling to make sense of the pain and darkness I had frequently experienced," he told The FADER.

The Black Box is due out sometime before the end of the year.
