The Internet's Ego Death is one of the best albums of the year, and it is immediately clear that the album is going to be good three seconds into leadoff track "Get Away," which sucks you in with its subby, ribbed bass, muddled clap, and an intriguing opening line from Syd the Kyd: "Now she wanna fuck me." Now "Get Away" gets the visual treatment, and that opening moment is accompanied by an ass shot of a woman in a tight grey dress and an ominous caption that reads "Somewhere in The Hills."
This song is all smoking weed, and jetting off of this rotten planet... so toke up and watch this great video.
Ego Death is available on iTunes and The Internet is currently in the throes of their U.S. tour, which will culminate in a performance at Tyler, the Creator's 4th annual Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in Los Angeles on Nov. 14.
