The playoffs are getting intense.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks were defeated on their home court in Game 1 of the NBA playoffs on Sunday (April 28). The Boston Celtics destroyed the home team, beating them 112-90. Al Horford was the star of the show, finishing with 20 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and three blocks. He also did a great job of defending Giannis. The Greek Freak finished with 22 points, but was not as dominant or accurate as he needed to be. Kyrie Irving was also a major factor in the game, logging 26 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds. Gordon Hayward and Terry Rozier showed what they were worth as well, combining for 22 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists.

The Celtics led by as many as 15 points in the first half before the Bucks went on a run before halftime. Boston came out of the locker room with force though, and crushed the Bucks by outscoring them 36-21 in the third quarter. Game 2 will take place on Tuesday night (April 30). The Bucks will be looking to even the series, although the Celtics had one of the best defenses all regular season. It will be no easy feat to regain a lead over the Celtics, but it would be foolish to doubt Giannis.
