Doncic was just trying to pass the time.

Luka Doncic has been phenomenal in his rookie season with the Dallas Mavericks, so much so that he is being heavily considered as the frontrunner for the rookie of the year trophy. Last night, Doncic continued his heroics, notching his seventh triple-double of the season, recording 28 points, 12 assists, and 12 rebounds. Unfortunately for the Mavs, the team still ended up losing their match against the Sacramento Kings after blowing an 18-point lead down the stretch. Regardless, it was another instance of Doncic showing us why he's going to be a great player for a long time.

Funny enough, it wasn't his 28 points that was the highlight of the game, instead, it was what Doncic was caught doing on the sideline while taking a break. In the video below which was posted to Twitter, you can see Doncic engaging in a quick game of rock-paper-scissors with a fan sitting behind the net courtside.

The video was just another instance of Doncic showing the world just how much fun he's been having since coming to play basketball stateside in the NBA. Doncic even retweeted the video, acknowledging that he essentially got caught red-handed.

Considering the Mavericks are well out of a playoff spot with the season winding down, why not let the kid have a little fun?
