Adidas NMD R1

This colorway should be familiar to Adidas heads.

The Adidas NMD R1 has been one of the brand's most popular shoes over the last few years. Thanks to the ultra-comfortable Boost midsole, these sneakers have been one of the best lifestyle shoes on the market. It was a sneaker that was pretty limited when the first few colorways were released, but since then, the shoe has had a bit of a dip in popularity thanks to an increase in stock and a plethora of colorways. In 2017, when the NMD was at the height of its popularity, Adidas released the "Japan" pack which featured a triple-black and triple-white colorway. Now the brand with three stripes is bringing back the "Japan" NMD R1 but in an updated colorway.

This new model comes in triple-black, although the boost on the back heel has a strip of white at the top. There is also some Japanese writing on the side of the midsole on the inside of the shoe, while "The Brand With Three Stripes" is written on the front brick of the sneaker.

As reported by Sneaker Bar Detroit, there is no official release date just yet but they should be coming out withing the next few weeks on adidas.com for $130 USD.
