Mark Cuban is not a fan of American basketball players apparently.

Mark Cuban has always been known for speaking his mind and in a recent interview with EuroHoops, the Dallas Mavericks owner kept his reputation intact with some harsh words for American-born basketball players.

"If we took our best kids and seven years before they are McDonald’s all-American, we sent them over to Slovenia to get an education, the league would be a thousand times better," Cuban told EuroHoops. His statement came after the Mavericks owner was asked about the success of Dallas' first-round draft pick Luka Doncic who is of Slovenian descent. Doncic has proven to be one of the most exciting rookie's this season, and his step-back jumper has had fans gushing over him all season.

Cuban's harsh words continued when he said that American players "learn how to taunt and put together mixtapes," a statement that will most likely not sit very well with his American players.

The Dallas Mavericks are having a much better season than last year, as they currently sit at a record of 15-15. Despite the improvement in their record, they are still sitting outside of a playoff spot and are 11th in the Western Conference.

It will be interesting to see if Cuban's quotes will inspire his team to play better or if they'll be frustrated with how their owner thinks of them.
