Before he passed, Lil Peep was working on a collaborative album with ILoveMakonnen, which yielded the radio-friendly song “I’ve Been Waiting.” In the spirit of the former’s influences, the track also brought Fall Out Boy into the mix, who helped bridge the gap between the emo genre and mainstream pop-rock during their arrival. Now, Makonnen, Pete Wentz, and Patrick Stump took to the beachside amusement park for some accompanying visuals. The “vertical video” finds the trio hitting a few rides, all while a cone-rocking puppy holds it down alongside them.

Though a bittersweet reminder of sorts, “I’ve Been Waiting” proves that several of Peep’s friends and collaborators are intent on doing right by his memory. It’s unclear whether they will trudge full steam ahead with the lost collaboration album, but it stands to reason that Makonnen and Fall Out Boy aren’t quite finished yet.
