Young Roddy Songs

  • All My Life
    All My Life
Jet Life's Young Roddy has already alerted us to the Goodsense movement with his Good Sense and Good Sense 2 mixtapes. Today with "All My Life," he introduces the rest of his Goodsense and 31st team -- Droopy Collins, Harp, Smizz, & Mall Diabiase.
  • Straight Cash
    Straight Cash
Like a number of rappers, Young Roddy has been on that track-a-week tip recently.
  • Rap Check
    Rap Check
You already know good things are gonna happen when Young Roddy and LE$ link up with Cookin Soul.
  • Apologies
Young Roddy is picking up steam as we take the turn into mid-summer, releasing the quality "Pay Homage" last week and now the supremely soulful "Apologies."
  • Pay Homage
    Pay Homage
Young Roddy continues to keep it moving. After hitting us with “King Pin” a couple weeks back, the Jet Life member decides to come through and share another new track for us tonight called “Pay Homage” featuring Yung Simmie and Kydnice.
  • King Pin
    King Pin
It's been almost three months since we got new Young Roddy material, as he shared "Robin Givens" back in March, and today, he's back. Heralded by a classic Chris Rock bit, his new track "King Pin" hits the web.
  • Robin Givens
    Robin Givens
Young Roddy has been extremely quiet when it comes to releasing new music lately. In fact, the only track we’ve heard from the Jet Life setter this year was January’s release “Stay Up” featuring Trademark Da Skydiver. Tonight, Roddy decides to get back to the music and release this new cut titled “Robin Givens”.
  • Stay Up
    Stay Up
It's been more than a minute since the Jet Life advocate and Curren$y's best friend Young Roddy dropped off his Legal Dealing EP. The rapper comes back today with a loose joint that features fellow Jet Life and smoking connoisseur Trademark Da Skydiver. The two rappers encourage you to stay up (and high) over chilled out, saxophone-littered production.
  • I Know It
    I Know It
Young Roddy is next in line in the Jet Life hierarchy, proving as much with the release of a brand new solo effort Saturday night. Rooy's is the most recent release of many from the crew, which have been impacting every weekend for the past few weeks, and the first solo project to come out of the series that didn't come from Spitta himself.
  • Dirty Money (Hot Nigga Freestyle)
    Dirty Money (Hot Nigga Freestyle)
We've heard plenty of rappers go in over Bobby Shmurda's inescapable track, "Hot Nigga" over the last few weeks, but the freestyles have not stopped pouring in. The latest rapper to take on the instrumental is not known for taking on such aggressive instrumentals, but he still manages to kill it on this one. Young Roddy is a member of Curren$y's Jet Life crew, who are generally known for their hazy smoking jams. Nevertheless, Roddy brings out his tough talk for "Hot Nigga", and spits with the best of them.
  • Pad Lock (Freestyle)
    Pad Lock (Freestyle)
Cardo really came through in a big way on Jeezy and Jay Z's recent collabo, "Seen It All," sampling an obscure Japanese track to great effect. Now someone else has recognized the sheer awesomeness of that beat, namely Young Roddy, who takes the track and blesses it with a freestyle entitled "Pad Lock."
  • 0 To 100 Grand
    0 To 100 Grand
Young Roddy (who appears to have dropped the "young" from his name) is already prepping the follow-up to his Route The Ruler tape, which will be titled Route The Ruler 2. Before he unleashes that on us though, we're treated to his remix of Drake's "0 To 100."
  • Bout It
    Bout It
On July 3rd, Le$ and Cookin' Soul will release their collaborative project ACE. From the tape, we've heard "Come Up," which features Le$' frequent collaborator Curren$y, and now "Bout It" is here, starring fellow Jet Lifer Young Roddy. Like the previous track, the song's artwork comes from the 2002 film Paid In Full, this time featuring Cam'ron and actor Wood Harris. Cookin' Soul's production is slightly less retro than usual, ending up sounding like it could've dropped alongside the film in question.
  • Legal Tender
    Legal Tender
Curren$y, the Jet Life captain, let go some new music from his friends yesterday, Young Roddy and Trademark Da Skydiver. The two representatives teamed up for "Legal Tender." The song, which is free for download, is perfect way to kick off your weekend with smooth smoke-worthy vibes (but would you expect anything less from the Jet Life crew?) with a soulful/jazzy infusion.
  • Over The Stove
    Over The Stove
Even though he just dropped off his Route the Ruler mixtape the other week, Jet Life spitta Young Roddy continues to keep pushing out new tracks. Two weeks ago we heard Roddy jump on Drake’s “Draft Day” instrumental and deliver his “Boost Mobile” freestyle.
  • Boost Mobile (Freestyle)
    Boost Mobile (Freestyle)
Young Roddy just dropped a new mixtape, Route the Ruler, the other week, but he returns quickly with a brand new freestyle. The Jet Life rapper isn't usually one to hop on the freestyle bandwagon, at least in the past, but today he's decided to take on Drake's "Draft Day" beat, and he handles it extremely well. As he states off the bat, "only trill niggas can hop on this beat after me." Word. Are you hoping the underrated Jet Lifer drops more freestyles in the future? Download this one if you're digging it.
  • Grew Up In This
    Grew Up In This
His new mix, The Drive In Theatre, is up to par with the standard of quality expected from a Curren$y Project. The mixtape was dropped only recently and can be found here.
  • Best Believe
    Best Believe
Listen to Best Believe, the latest track from Trademark Da Skydiver, featuring Young Roddy. The cut dropped on Tuesday, November 12th, 2013. Trademark Da Skydiver's future brightens with every new release, and Best Believe certainly isn't an exception. It's a fitting addition to a solid catalogue that Trademark Da Skydiver has been developing since stepping foot in the game. We're excited to hear more.
  • The War On Drugs
    The War On Drugs
Curren$y & Young Roddy's rap artistry continues to improve with every release, something which is most definitely evidenced on The War On Drugs (Prod. By Harry Fraud). His ever-expanding catalogue is definitely better for it, and we're looking forward to the next piece of the puzzle - aren't you?
  • Parking Lot Pimps
    Parking Lot Pimps
Quotable Lyrics"Sunday night ridin', got my bitch drivin' I'm passengers side, and something look like it's flying Audio dope, on the stove like the frying pan Haters they be eyeing 'em We don't pay no mind to them Designers send me looks You gonna have to stand in line for this You off in the club, ballin out while I'm outside of it"
