The late R&B/soul legend Curtis Mayfield has had his discography mined for samples by everyone from The Beastie Boys to Kanye West, and most times a hip-hop track is built around one of them, it's better for it. Young Cypher joins the ranks of those who have benefited second-hand from Mayfield's compositional genius, as he samples the singer's "We The People Who Are Darker Than Blue" for his new track "The 01' Ville Story."
