Listen to the debut track from Atlanta's newest artist.

With "Pokerface," Yogii has delivered the type of song that doesn't come out of Atlanta too often. That is, soulful, straight to the point rapping about personal struggle.

The tale is a classic one: young man from a bad neighborhood turns to a life in the streets in order to survive. Yogii tells it well here, from his beginnings in the streets, to an adult life in a federal penitentiary or homeless on the street. The track is produced by Kontrabandz, and takes a few hints from early-era Kanye soul sampling in order to give an emotional gravitas to the track.

"Poker Face" is Yogii's very first single, and he's already off to a strong start. What do you think? Does he have a place in the game?

Quotable Lyrics

Remember teaching my homies,
Never roll on a soldier,
We take them right out the deck,
We never hold on to jokers
