Wale has released a curious mix of songs in course of the past three weeks. First he released a remix of Ed Sheeran's hit "Shape of You," then a five-minute poem called "Groundhog Day," then a collaboration with G-Eazy called "Fashion Week." In the wee hours of Wednesday night, he casually posted a new freestyle over "Soke," the popular song by Nigerian reggae-dancehall artist Burna Boy.
Wale has a strong track record when working with Nigerian artists. "Drop," his collaboration with WizKid and Legendury Beatz, is a straight banger.
