Today singer Victoria Monet released her new EP for streaming on Soundcloud. Nightmares & Lullabies: Act II EP doesn't hit iTunes until tomorrow, but you can listen to the seven-track offering in full here. We've been following the singer since she dropped off the first instalment, Nightmares & Lullabies, last year, with appearances from B.o.B and Ty Dolla $ign. For Act II, she calls upon only one feature, from T.I. on the highlight "Mad Generation."
Victoria spoke on the EP's title and how it reflects her music with Billboard. "Nightmares & Lullabies is a metaphor for the juxtapositions ones life can display - bad days vs the best ones and how they can play off of each other," she says. "It also describes my sound. My voice represents the lullaby, and the tribal undertone in the music is dark like a nightmare."
