If you recall the Crew Love feature we did on the Save Money collective a while back, you might remember that Towkio is a member. Although we've never featured him on the site in the past, today seemed like as good a day as any to start, especially since he just dropped off a new single featuring fellow Save Money rapper Vic Mensa.
The two get production from Kaytranada- a producer who has already worked with Vic Mensa quite a bit, so the collaboration seems natural. Both Towkio and Vic trade energetic raps over an '80s-ish beat.
Towkio is prepping an album, .Wav Theory, for April. It'll be executive produced by The Social Experiment's Peter Cottontale. Stay tuned for more leaks.
