It's been over a year since we've heard from grime rapper-turned international star Tinie Tempah. Today, the British rapper shares "Flash!," an uptempo track that showcases his unique ability to remain both a highly skilled lyricist and a pop sensation in his home country.
Unlike the grittier, more true-to-grime tracks that Tinie's fellow UK rapper Skepta's been dropping in the past year, "Flash!" can exist in both hip-hop and EDM contexts, which should (and already has) elevated Tinie's status. There's no word yet on whether this is from a new Tinie Tempah project or just a one-off, but whatever the case, "Flash!" is a blast.
