22-year old Chicago-based producer Thelonious Martin continues his rapid ascent through the producer-sphere with "PRPWNDRRMX"-- a self-remix of his track "Purp Interlude" that appeared on his recent/stellar mixtape Wunderkid. Martin collaborated with artists like Mac Miller, Curren$y, and Ab-Soul and he is sure to collaborate with even bigger names in the not-too-distant future.
King Thelonious usually employs a lush, floral, Dilla-vibe. His love of Madlib is apparent on Wunderkid, which features a track called "Ode to Madlib." Trappy and cavernous,"PRPWNDRRMX" demonstrates his versatility and his potential to work with rappers all across today's rap landscape.
