Tekashi 6ix9ine Must Pay $155K For Bail In New York & Texas: Report

Tekashi 6ix9ine seemed to have a successful run in Europe for his "World Domination" tour but things weren't as great when he landed back in America. The rapper was arrested once he landed at JFK in New York on an arrest warrant that was issued in Texas. The rapper was sent to Rikers Island where he was held in isolation after being denied bail. However, it looks like the rapper's lawyers scored him a sweet deal but for a hefty price.

According to TMZ, Tekashi 6ix9ine has been granted bail in both New York City and Texas. The rapper's will be released from Rikers once he pays $150K but he'll have to surrender to authorities in Harris County, TX on Monday in order to pay another $5K.

Yesterday, the news broke out that the rapper would be behind bars until July 20th after the judge deemed him a "flight risk." However, his lawyers got the prosecutors in Texas to agree to a bail amount before they managed to get the New York judge to grant him bail during an emergency hearing. Once his $150K bail payment is processed, he'll be released from Rikers.

The rapper arrest warrant issued for Tekashi 6ix9ine in Texas stemmed from an incident where he allegedly choked out a 16-year-old kid who seemed to say something to get under the rapper's skin.
