In January, Taylor J will be releasing an EP by the name of Central Ave. Today, he's shared "Last Night," the first track we've received from the project.
Although the song's artwork features a painting of an Al Green greatest hits album, the song doesn't bear any samples from the Reverend himself. Taylor J does describe the art's scene, rapping, "a little Al Green, a little bit of weed, a killer enemy help me level out." Over an atmospheric backdrop produced by Christian Lou, the Minnesota MC comes through with several different, hypnotic cadences in his vocals. Stay tuned for more leaks from the Central Ave EP.
