Yesterday (Dec. 12), Bas, Cozz, and Omen asked their fans if they were interested in participating in a Dreamville "crawl" in NYC. It turned out that what Dreamville had in store was three surprise shows in one night.
Well hello! Just hours after hearing news of the Dreamville’s sequel to Revenge Of The Dreamers, J.Cole and company decide to surprise fans by dropping it off on iTunes tonight a few days early.
J. Cole is rarely active on Twitter, so it's fair to say he's up to something tonight, as he just tweeted out "1-888-88-DREAM." The same number was also shared by Cole's Dreamville labelmates, Bas, Cozz, and Omen.
The already-stacked SXSW lineup just got even crazier. Joining a packed schedule of shows is a "Dreamville Takeover" headed up by J. Cole and also featuring Bas, Cozz, Omen and more, and it goes down Saturday, March 21st at Austin's Moody Theater.
Cozz successfully delivered his debut album on J. Cole's Dreamville imprint, Cozz & Effect, the other month. Although the rapper is still new to the game, he impressed with his polished raps and production.
You can feel Cozz's hunger when listening to his music. It's easy to understand why J. Cole would want the youngster out of LA on his Dreamville/Interscope Label. Cozz has the lyrical trappings of a rapstar in the making.
