A heated twitter exchange went down recently between SpaceGhostPurrp, and A$AP Mob member, A$AP Twelvy. Since then SGP has been in the news, after A$AP Rocky publicly dissed him saying "fuck him". In an interview with HipHopDX, Purrp discussed his relationship with Rocky and the A$AP Mob. “I’m not gonna disrespect him by talking about him and bash his name but I’m never working with him again. There’s no A$AP/Raider Klan, none of that shit. I wish the best for him for the rest and how he do, like direct videos and how he rap, whatever he do but no way in hell, I’m not even stepping in the studio with him”said SpaceGhost.
When asked to go into more detail about what caused the riff, SpaceGhost Purrp was reluctant and felt it would just give the A$AP Mob members more ammunition, “Nah, I ain’t gonna speak on it 'cause I’m not gonna make this shit… It’s just gonna make him keep fucking tweeting and shit and I don’t want that anymore.”
SGP feels that they are attacking him publicly just go get some more press, “But really it’s publicity that’s all. His album is about to come out and that’s why he doing that shit, that’s why he tweeted so much but yeah, that’s all.”
It will be interesting to see if the beef continues publicly between SpaceGhost and the A$AP members, as Rocky does not seem reluctant to tell anyone who asks about his true feelings for his one time collaborator.
