Boosie Badazz has fallen off his blazing album-per-month pace, thus relinquishing the most-projects-released-in-2016 title to Curren$y. He's still active though, and he delivers perhaps one of his best verses of the year on "Same Dream Different Hustle," a new collaboration with Soulja Boy.
Soulja Boy and Boosie take different paths over the song's spectral synths and prickly 808s, supplied by producers MPC Cartel x Ben James. While Soulja charges up the autotune and glides over the soundscape, Boosie attacks it viciously, with the passion of a thousand suns. He literally tried to kill this beat, and he may have succeeded.
