With their tape Super Saiyan Vol. 1, released back in 2013, Chicago duo Sicko Mobb (comprised of Lil Trav and Lil Ceno) brought their city's bop scene to the rest of the world. Their lighter, more melodic imagination of the drill sound returns today the with the tape's long-awaited sequel.

With only one feature (coming from the always-great Rockie Fresh), the tape lets Trav and Ceno largely do things on their own, playing off one another on party jams that make Rae Sremmurd sound like direct descendants of Sicko Mobb's style. Instead of Mike WiLL's minimal trap, though, they're backed up by technicolor instrumentals that are energetic as they are.

Let us know what you think.
