We haven't heard from the uber talented producer Shlohmo since he dropped off "Emerge From Smoke" at the beginning of December. Today he makes a return with the record "Buried." Although "Emerge From Smoke" seemed to be a one-off vinyl release without a full body of work attached to it, it actually will appear on Shlohmo's forthcoming album Dark Red. "Buried" is the second single from the upcoming album. Dark Red is dropping April 7th according to Shlohmo's Soundcloud.
Although "Buried" starts minimal with sinister undertones, the record soon progresses into something much larger and more complex, yet it also seems more light-hearted towards the end of the almost seven-minute-long listening session. We're definitely excited to hear what else Shlohmo has in store on Dark Red, and you can already pre-order it on iTunes (as well as peep the tracklist there- 11 cuts with one feature from D33J).
