This week, Saigon dropped his new album The Greatest Story Never Told 3: The Troubled Times Of Brian Carenard (which you can stream here). Included on the album is a track called "The Warning Shot" that touches on a 2004 Saigon track that he says prophesized "everything that would come to take place in Hip Hop culture" in the next ten years. Saigon writes that he predicted everything "From rappers copying the sounds of other regions, to rappers becoming overtly emotional, singing on every song, and making weak attempts to merge Hip Hop with R&B." Nostradamus? Perhaps, but you'll have to watch to find out.
