Freddie Gibbs may no longer be a part of Young Jeezy's CTE World label.
Speculation started last week, during Gibbs' interview with The Breakfast Club, when he stated his album had no label to distribute it. However, when he was asked about CTE and whether or not he was still with that crew, he remained vague although affirming he and Jeezy were still on good terms.
Now Gangsta Gibbs has added to the speculation, having tweeted that he is a "free agent," and that it is ESGN (his own label) "til the end."
From this, we can assume that his CTE association must be diminished, if not gone completely. We'll have to wait and see what he does come album-time, but as he stated when talking to The Breakfast Club, he's not in a rush to get out an LP.
Either way, do you think it's a good move for Gibbs to leave CTE, or should he remain with the Snowman?
