Rome Fortune is setting label politics aside for a minute and giving fans a free (surprise) project, which paves the way for another free project, Beautiful Pimp 3. Before we get BP3, he's blessed us with VVORLDVVIDE PIMPSATION, keeping the theme from his 2014 mixtape Small VVorld in tact, which is also an indication of what to expect from the new mixtape. It's a return to form, although that's not to say Rome is moving backwards sound-wise, if anything he was ahead of his time when he started dropping Beautiful Pimp tapes (so that was around 2013)-- and now that the times have caught up to his sound, he's continuing to experiment.
On VVORLDVVIDE PIMPSATION Rome connects with a few familiar collaborators and a few new ones. Nessly is among the latter half, but the two cook up heat over Heaven In Stereo's minimalist, metallic production on "My First $100,000." Take a listen.
