Bob Marley's son speaks out against the recent criticisms of Snoop Dogg's decision to be a Rastafarian and create reggae music.
Not everyone is happy with Snoop Dogg's transformation from rapper to Rastafarian, along with a new name, Snoop Lion. Some of Bob Marley's former group members, such as Bunny Wailer, spoke out against the rapper the other day, as we reported. However, now Bob Marley's son has something to say about it, and he's in favor of Snoop Lion.
Rohan Marley tells TMZ that he was aware of Bunny Wailer's comments, as well as those from the Rastafari Millenium Council. He says, "Our father's name should not even be mentioned in this issue because like a true Rasta, he would have embraced Snoop's reincarnation and welcomed the positivity."
Rohan asks, "Why condemn a man for his love of Rastafari and Bob Marley?"
"We have been cool with Snoop before his transformation and he will continue to have our blessings and support," he added.
Are you guys cool with Snoop's transformation?
