Remy Ma has ratcheted up her onslaught against Nicki Minaj. After debuting her second diss track "Another One" last night, Remy took more shots at Nicki during an interview this morning on "The Wendy Williams Show."
Remy explained that it was not Nicki's lyrical jabs, but "behind the scenes stuff" that inspired her to pen "shETHER." She alleged that Nicki had threatened not to attend award shows if she was in attendance. "When you're trying to stop my bag, when you're trying to stop me from taking care of my children, now I have a problem with that," she explained.
Later, she said, “This person, just based on what I’ve witnessed, is not a nice person," and asserted that Nicki made a mistake by picking a fight with her. "Someone once said when they were in the middle of a rap battle, you gotta be careful who you choose your battles with."
But none of that compared to the coupe de grace, when Williams asked Remy why she was dressed for a funeral. "My grandmother told me to never speak ill of the dead," Remy replied.
