Post Malone and 1st drop "What's Up."

The low-key Southern rapper (who we recently discovered was once attempting a career as a folk artist, hence why he's got all these melodies on lock) returns today with a new leak. As is his tendency, he uploaded the record to Soundcloud without making much noise, and once again FKi is on the boards with co-production from Charli Handsome.

Compared to past releases like "Too Young," the production on "What's Up" has a lot more going on, both in instruments (an acoustic guitar even makes an appearance) and layers. It's also a bit less dark and it a bit more feel-good, as Post sing-raps about a lady he wants to get with.

Although Post has been staying out of the press for the most part, he recently had a sit-down with DJ Skee which sheds some light on who he is and the evolution of his career. Check that out here.

Quotable Lyrics

Quit fuckin with them bustas
I been tryna call your number
You been playing way too long
I been smoking on that strong
In that studio too long
Blowing on that horn
