As we learned last week, Nipsey Hussle and Young Thug connected for a song called "Thug Life." After teasing the song to fans, the duo are ready to unleash the collaboration, thank you Based God cause this Monday's songs list was looking weak (although admittedly it's only Noon).
"Thug Life" is quite different from Thug's usual trap-driven instrumentals, it even feels a bit jazzy with a soulful sample and the mix of a piano melody and guitar strings (no producer is indicated though). That being said, what do you think of it? Do you prefer Thugger over his slinking trap beats?
We're not sure exactly what Nipsey has up his sleeve, but he's obviously working on something-- perhaps he'll use another one of his unique marketing tactics when he announces it. Does this collaboration live up to your expectations?
