The New York Knicks are in the midst of a head coaching search.

New York Knicks fans have had to suffer through a lot over the years. The last time they won a championship was all the way back in 1973 and since then, they have been to 2 NBA Finals although they lost in both of those years. Needless to say, you have to have a lot of patience if you've been a lifelong fan. Mix in some of the disastrous moves by owner James Dolan, and you have yourself one of the most dysfunctional franchises in professional sports.

As of right now, the team is looking for the next head coach and there have some big names rumored for consideration. Today, though, it seems like the team has someone new in mind. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Knicks are set to interview Warriors associate head coach Mike Brown.

Mike Brown has been the head coach of teams before, although with limited success. With this in mind, there are some pretty upset Knicks fans out there although this shouldn't be a surprise. No matter who gets the job, the fans are going to be a bit upset with the outcome.

We're sure more candidates will be interviewed soon so stay tuned for updates as we will be sure to bring them to you.
