Markelle Fultz had a tumultuous time while with the Philadelphia 76ers. The former number one overall pick was consistently riddled with injuries and never seemed to find his game in Philly. The Sixers finally felt as though Fultz needed a change of scenery and traded him at the deadline to the Orlando Magic. The newly acquired Magic player spoke to reporters and explained why he's happy to be in a new city.

"It just excites me to know that I have a coach that's going to push you to be better and not just going to tell you what you want to hear," Fultz said to reporters.

Fultz also explained that being in Orlando will teach him not just to be a better NBA player, but also as a young man.

"I think the biggest thing that we've talked about is just doing stuff the right way, just building me up as a man and on the court," Fultz said. "I think that's music to my ears. Two things that I really want to do is be the best player I can be and be the best young man I can be. They do a great job of doing that."

The young player is joining a Magic squad that is ranked 10th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 27-32.
