Not long after dropping off a "vertical video" to their collaborative single, the Lil Peep-assisted "I've Been Waiting," ILoveMakonnen and Fall Out Boy have come through with the official clip. "This video is a magical one," revealed Peep's mother, while originally announcing the video on Monday. "Gus and Makonnen came up with the idea for it two years ago. I'm so glad the idea has been realized. You will see the subtle presence of Gus in it, if you look closely. Well done, guys!" Now, the fairy-tale-esque, visually striking video has arrived, yet another piece in the ongoing Peep legacy.
While the aforementioned subtle-presence might be hard to catch, creative director Sus Boy has shed some light on Peep's presence, which takes place on a metaphorical level. "Peep wanted this video to bring people up into the clouds, into the fantastical world of his mind," Sus Boy said, speaking with Complex.
