Giannis Antetokoumpo is having an MVP-worthy season this year. With a solid supporting cast around him, The Greek Freak has led the Milwaukee Bucks to the best record in basketball at 59-20. The team is actually guaranteed to finish first in the NBA this season, which means the team will have home court advantage throughout the entire playoffs. Antetokoumpo has been praised by the likes of Shaq for his incredible play and monstrous dunks out on the court. He is also an incredibly humble player who isn't too preoccupied with all of the superstardom that comes with being a player like him.

The Bucks superstar has been getting some pretty high praise and even some advice from NBA legends. One of those former players is Kobe Bryant. While speaking to the media on Friday, Giannis explained that Kobe Bryant offered on some words of encouragement that ultimately changed his way of thinking. To put it frankly, Kobe gave Giannis the "Mamba Mentality."

"He made me believe it even more," Giannis said. "You know a guy like Kobe saying 'Go get the MVP' made me definitely change my mentality and believe it even more that I can do it."

As of right now, it looks like the only player who stands in the way of Giannis and an MVP trophy is James Harden. It will definitely be a tight race.
