Kent Jones comes through with a remix to "Different Lover," channeling his inner romantic over some eighties synth pop vibes. His vocals and lyricism really shine on this one, as Jones opts illustrates a vivid picture of his Tokyo affair with clear attention to detail. It's a pop song, sure, but the track's lyrical nature and experimental arrangement (complete with a guitar solo), set it apart from its dumbed-down contemporaries.

Fans of eighties influenced tracks will no doubt love this, and even those who don't mess with that sub-genre may enjoy the track's upbeat nature. With the subtitle being "Tokyo," it stands to reason that this "Different Lover" remix may very well be a multi-geographical series, which kicked off with the song's original version earlier this year.

Quotable Lyrics

She was a girl from Tokyo,
She got a switch, drift, drift
She loves a pearl before she goes
Now I roll, twist, hit and no miss
