"Guilt Trip" co-producer S1 reveals that the track was originally slated to appear on "Watch The Throne," complete with a Jay Z verse.

If you thought the spacey, Kid Cudi-featuring "Guilt Trip" sounded a little out of place on the otherwise aggressive and rough-hewn Yeezus, you're quite perceptive. As it turns out, the song was originally recorded during the Watch The Throne sessions and featured a Jay Z verse.

Speaking with DJBoothTV, S1 (who co-produced the track with Kanye, Mike Dean and Travi$ Scott) reveals that he worked on the song in Paris with Kanye, Jay and a bunch of other big names. According to him, while 'Ye and Jay "Yea or Nay'd" beats, he whipped out the "Guilt Trip" beat and Jay said "we need that now."

Watch him relate the story below.
