He's speaking at Harvard next week.
Students packed into a 300-seat New York University lecture hall Friday evening to hear Joey Bada$$ deliver a special lecture on his experiences as an independent artist in the music industry.
Rocking the purple Columbia jacket in honor of NYU's school colors, Joey began his lecture by discussing his pre-natal musical encounters in a section he called "Musical Womb Theory," and went from there.
"Everyone thinks they will never change but it's really hard when the whole world is pressuring you to," he told the students. "The moment I chose to follow my heart I started living life."
Joey Bada$$ is scheduled to speak at Harvard University later this week. He premiered his new single "Ready" last night on Ebro's radio show. It's flames!!
